The Extended Eco Printing Kit is our most complete option, giving you more freedom and options when designing your Classic Tote Bag. Similar to the Essential Kit, it is designed for you to jump right into the creative part of eco printing without having to do the complex fabric preparation (scouring and mordanting). Spend less time sourcing and preparing. Spend more time getting to know the plants and customising your own piece.

The Extended Kit is differentiated by the flexible silicone hose which allows you to coil a wider fabric into a smaller pot, the inclusion of an extra mordanted auxiliary fabric, and a pH neutral orvus paste detergent which is the most recommended for washing naturally dyed textiles. This makes it particularly suitable for people who want to continue their eco printing practice beyond the kit with more creative freedom.

Never eco printed before? No problem! In addition to the written instructions, we created a full series of video tutorials for you to follow along step-by-step.
Don’t know how to prepare your fabric or don’t want to mordant? We’ve already done the boring part for you! All of the blanks we provide are already mordanted with aluminum acetate. You just need to dip it in the iron sulfate *IF* you want to darken the colors.
Don’t know much about plants? This is the perfect way to start learning more! We’ve included a selection of pressed and dry plants in the kits and a digital guide of more plants you can easily forage.

What’s included:
* One mordanted GOTS organic cotton classic tote bag for you to eco print.
* Pressed and dried dye plants specific for Eco Printing (size M).
* 60 cm silicone hose made to resist temperatures above 300 degrees.
* 8 m Trapilho string.
* 10 g Iron modifier.
* Mordanted auxiliary cotton fabric (~36x36cm). Perfect to test leaves, print as a wall hanging, or use as an assistant when eco printing your piece.
* 150 ml Orvus Paste - pH neutral detergent.
* Detailed illustrated instructions page (hardcopy).
* Access to video tutorials to guide you through each step of the process.
* A digital guide of common plants you can forage for eco printing.
* Tinctorium Studio Sticker and a selection of seeds to start your own dye garden.

What you’ll need to add:
- Access to a stove.
- A pot for cooking your fabric (big enough to coil you hose into).
- A bucket for water & access to water.
- Reusable gloves.
- A thin rod/stick up to 12mm in diameter and at least 60cm long to make the silicone pipe rigid while rolling. (Such as a garden stake, aluminum rod, thin curtain rod, etc.).

Who is this kit designed for?
Complete beginners: The kit is perfect for people who have never eco printed before because it has everything you need to get started and our detailed instructions and how-to videos that explain every step of the process.

More experienced: If you’ve already taken an eco printing workshop or have explored on your own this kit will provide all the tools for you to continue your practice and a step by step paper guide so you can remember what to do. The silicone hose will be an essential tool to keep your practice going and allowing you to work with much bigger fabrics than the wooden dowel.

Please note, blanks are branded with a Tinctorium Studio stamp and are not intended for resale.
